“ THESE FRIES WERE SMASHING! Fried to perfection and their sauces were phenomenal. The texture of their food is so rich! Excellent and fast service! Can't wait to see if they open a stand alone restaurant! Morgan Food Hall has plenty of seating but I know they would have an amazing spot with lux ambiance. ”
“ The boricua was good. Maybe a little bit too seasoned for my taste but still very good. Service was good and the ambiance was a food court. ”
“ Suprising experience. Forget sugary based sweets and come get yourself a healthier alternative, a natural sweet potato. Buena Papa Fry Bar has this scrumptious sweet potato dessert that is well worth the try. BP Sweet Potato Fries - Tossed in Cinnamon Sugar Goodness - Drizzled with House Made Pumpkin Spiced Marshmallow Fluff - w/ a Side of Pumpkin Whip Dip. For our event, they drizzled chocolate and caramel sauce over the potato as well and top it with warm walnuts. We didn't have fries but yet an entire sweet potato. If you're new, Morgan St Food Hall does not have dedicated parking. There is plenty of street parking as well as Pay to Park lots. Don't hesitate to check it out as you may end up making the Food Hall a great date night location ”
“ These fries are packed with stuff and are good, I got the large Colombiano and it was more than enough, I could of got the regular and been full. I also got the blackberry drink that was good. I would go here again, I also wanted to try the Boriqua . ”
“ Buena Papa Fry Bar is located inside of Morgan Street Food Hall. This is perfect so you can order more than loaded fries. My husband and I split an order of the El Americano fries and a passion fruit juice. The fries were topped with cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives. The fries were good but the juice was just okay. If you are checking this spot out I do recommend splitting an order. ”
“ Saw it on Shark Tank rerun. Visiting Raleigh. Had to try it. The food was great and service was exceptional. I had a long chat with one of the owners. She is a genuine sweetheart. ”
“ Located in Morgan Food Hall, this tucked away food stall is exactly what you need after having a few gin drinks at aunty Betty's gin and absinthe bar (located a few steps away). On fry-days (Fridays.. #soclever), they have buy 2 get 1 so we selected the americano, the columbiano, and the Carolina (bbq). I mean.. you can never have too many fries. We didn't have to wait in a line, service was quick and left us on our merry way. Fries are FRESH and ingredients were more than I was expecting. Everything tasted fresh and had great flavorings, more than I expected from a fry bar. The columbiano specifically had yummy pork belly... mmmm. Location is nice that you can go and try other food stalls, and maybe get some dessert .. if you aren't stuffed after eating here! I enjoyed sitting outside while enjoying our fries! I recommend getting 1 to share with a friend, and enjoy! grab some forks..!! ”
“ One of the most popular stalls at the Morgan St Food Hall, Buena Papa is definitely not for those on a diet! We ordered the el Colombiano to share...& it was plenty for 3 people!! The mountain of delicious fries were piled high with chicharron (crispy fried pork belly), chorizo, refried beans, guacamole, pico and a deliciously garlicky sauce. We opted for the red sauce (ketchup mayo mix) on the side. It was so good but even 3 people couldn't finish this!! Service was quick even though this was made to order. The only challenge is seating and the noise level but that is to be expected in a food hall. ”
